These terms apply to all tickets bought for Ballybunion Pumpkin Patch, Cloghane, Ballyduff, Co. Kerry, V92 DK76 ("we", "us", "the farm"). By booking a ticket you accept these terms on behalf of everyone in your party.
1. Tickets and booking
Tickets are sold online through Eventbrite. Your booking is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation email with your ticket attached. Please bring that ticket with you. On your phone is perfectly fine.
- Everyone aged 2 and over needs a ticket, adults included.
- Children under 2 enter free and do not need a ticket.
- Tickets are for a timed arrival slot. Please arrive within your slot; once you're on the farm there is no time limit until closing.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
- Eventbrite applies its own booking fee, which is shown before you pay and is not refundable by us.
2. Changes, refunds and cancellations
We're a small family farm and our pumpkins only last a few weeks, so please book with care.
- Tickets are not refundable, but we will move your booking to another available slot in the same season if you contact us at least 48 hours before your visit.
- Tickets are transferable. If you can't make it, someone else is welcome to use your ticket.
- If we cancel a session, you may choose a full refund of the ticket price or a transfer to another slot.
3. Weather
This is an outdoor attraction on a working farm and we open in normal Irish autumn weather, including rain. Poor weather is not a reason for a refund, so please bring wellies and a coat.
We will close only where conditions make the site genuinely unsafe, such as a Met Éireann status orange or red warning, flooding, or high winds. If we close, we will contact ticket holders using the details on the booking and offer a transfer or a full refund of the ticket price.
4. Safety on the farm
A working farm carries risks that a playground does not. Please look after yourself and your party, and follow all signage and any instruction from our staff.
- Stay within the marked visitor areas. Farm machinery, slurry, water and livestock areas are strictly off limits.
- Supervise children at all times, particularly around the animals, the play area and the bale maze.
- Wash your hands at the stations provided after touching any animal and before eating.
- Do not feed the animals anything other than feed bought or supplied on site.
- Do not climb on bales, fences, machinery or the tractor except where clearly marked for photos.
- Sensible footwear is required. The ground is uneven and can be muddy.
Visitors enter the farm at their own risk. We maintain public liability insurance and take all reasonable care, but we are not liable for loss, damage or injury caused by failure to follow signage, staff instruction or these terms, or for personal property brought onto the farm. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Irish law.
5. Pumpkins
One medium sized pumpkin is included with each entry ticket. Additional pumpkins are priced by size and paid for at the gate as you leave. Please pick only what you intend to take home, and cut stems using the tools provided rather than pulling vines.
6. Animals and dogs
For the welfare of our animals and the comfort of other visitors, dogs are not permitted on the farm. Registered assistance dogs are welcome, but please let us know in advance so we can help you plan your route.
7. Photography
You are very welcome to take photos and video for personal use, and we'd love you to tag us. We also take photographs and video on site for our own marketing, and visitors may appear in them. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please tell a member of staff on arrival and we will respect that. Commercial photography, filming and drone use require our written permission in advance.
8. Behaviour
We want the farm to be a good day out for everyone. We reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove without refund, anyone behaving in a way that is unsafe, abusive, or damaging to the farm, the animals or other visitors.
9. Groups, schools and parties
Group, school and party bookings are arranged directly with us rather than through the website and may be subject to additional terms, including a deposit and minimum numbers. Please get in touch.
10. Accessibility
The main routes, coffee shed and animal area are on level ground and reachable with a wheelchair in dry conditions. Parts of the pumpkin field and the bale maze are over uneven ground. Contact us before booking and we'll talk you through what to expect.
11. Lost property
Please take care of your belongings. We'll hold any lost property found on site for 14 days after the end of the season, so email us and we'll check.
12. Changes to these terms and to the attraction
We may update these terms from time to time; the version published here at the time of your booking applies to that booking. Individual attractions may occasionally be unavailable due to weather, maintenance or animal welfare. Where that happens, the remainder of the farm stays open and no refund is due.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
